PHASE I:

We will spend several hours identifying your ideal work environment using a Career Preferences Profile Inventory I have developed over thirty years of counseling. It takes into account all aspects of work from your natural and transferable skills to company benefits and compensation, organizational values and personal collaboration style.

PHASE II:

REALITY TESTING - WHAT IS THE RIGHT MATCH?

Finding that preferred work environment takes time and patience. To help you stay focused, and unhurried in your search, I insist that you develop an interim Survival Plan to weather the storm. Informational interviews and on-line research are crucial in finding your best matches. We will meet frequently during this exploration period to discuss your findings and feelings. It is my job to keep you motivated, productive and fearless!

PHASE III:

MAKING THE CHANGE - A SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION

Now that we have found the best home for your skills and interests, the final stage begins. We will create a descriptive, effective resume, and systematically target your best prospects using a variety of access points. A clear, realistic time line will keep you on track. We will also carefully review all interview feedback to strengthen your candidacy. We can meet or talk by phone regularly during this phase, constantly evaluating your search strategies.
